Electronstream was founded by Colin Peterson. With over 12 years diverse experience in the IT field we are well positioned to provide solutions and services based on sound experience.
We follow the principle of 'Occams Razor' - 'Pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate' or 'All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best.'
Far to often, solutions to a problem are over complicated, with technologies being used for the sake of it. We look for the simplest most effective way of achieving results while keeping cost to a minimum. Our working environment is also quite different. We do not have offices. Our team of mature, experienced developers all work remotely when possible. This enables us to deliver solutions far quicker and more cost effectively. We use technology to our advantage.
We are competent in both a Microsoft and Linux environment and do not prescribe either - we find the best fit from a technology and cost perspective.
We do not prescribe to marketing hype and choose to keep things simple - bottom line - we focus on the task at hand.
Microsoft skills include .Net (C#,ASP.Net,Winforms,Windows Services), C++, Java, MS SQL (2000-2005), Web development (JavaScript,CSS,AJAX,JQuery,JSON), Biztalk, Sharepoint & Windows Mobile.
Linux skills include LAMP (Apache, MySQL, PHP), daemons, embedded devices, security solutions.
Apple skills include iOS and Mac applications in Objective C
